Changes to how works orders are issued to tenants.

The Association is responsible for carrying out repairs to our 831 rented properties, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard. In 2024-25 we carried out 2039 reactive repairs and on each occasion a works order was issued to one of our contractors or Trades Team whilst we also provided a copy of the works order to the tenant along with a repairs satisfaction survey.

In most cases this is done by letter through the post to tenants. However, to improve efficiencies with this process, from Tuesday 27th May 2025, we are now going to automatically send these by email when a works order is raised.

On completion of the works order we will send a further email to tenants including a link for the repairs satisfaction survey. The feedback, positive and negative, from these surveys is very important, allowing the Association to monitor and act on any issues raised and we greatly appreciate the time taken to complete and return these.

We have email addresses for the majority of our tenants, however we are keen to increase this number where possible. Therefore, when you contact the Association to report a repair you may want to confirm your email address to ensure we hold the correct email or where we have no email details can add this to our system.

For those tenants that do not have access to the internet or use email we will continue to send those works orders and repair satisfaction surveys by post.
