Association to host online energy advice event

Event will look at metering issues, energy advice and support available

Orkney Housing Association will host an online energy advice event next Tuesday, 20th February, from 6pm to 7pm.

The event, which will be live on Zoom, will cover issues around faulty metering, the Radio Teleswitch meter replacement programme, wider energy issues, and the support available from the Association and other agencies.

Energy Officer, Robert Leslie, said that at a time of high energy costs and with many households significantly rationing electricity usage, the Association wanted to set out how it could help tenants with their energy issues, and also how tenants can help themselves. He will also highlight support that other agencies can provide.

There will also be an opportunity for questions.
