Tariffs for Electric Vehicle Charging Points

Orkney Housing Association Ltd would like to remind users of its electric vehicle charging points associated with the Co-Wheels Car Club that there is now a fee involved in charging for non-car club electric vehicles.

The charging points at Holm Community Centre in St Mary’s, at Sommerville Square in Kirkwall, and at Smiddyquoy House in Dounby have now had a tariff of 20p per kWh and a minimum charge of £1 applied to them. These facilities were all provided free of charge for the first 12 months after they went live.

The Association is currently awaiting the appropriate signage to publicise these tariffs to be supplied by ChargePlace Scotland, who look after the charge points.
