Notice to Care & Repair Clients

During the current coronavirus outbreak we have the health & well being of all our clients, contractors, staff and their families as a priority.
As a service which supports homeowners and private rental tenants, we will continue to work closely with NHS Orkney to make sure that those able to get home from hospital can do so with the necessary help.
All current workload will be prioritised to ensure that we target the greatest emergencies keeping in mind the safety of everyone involved.
This may mean that some less urgent works may be delayed. We are sure that you will understand, and we appreciate your support.
Meantime, we have staff available during office hours if you wish to contact them by phone on 873369 or by email admin@orkneycareandrepair.co.uk

Reporting Repairs
When you phone to report a repair we will ask you the following questions to identify any potential risks before arranging work:
• Have you or any member of this household been to a Coronavirus affected area in the past 14 days?
• Have you had contact with anyone who may be infected with the Coronavirus?
• Do you have any of these symptoms?
- Cough
- Fever
- Shortness of breath
When we attend to carry out a repair, we will ask you to remain in a separate room to minimise contact.
