Orkney Care and Repair have been “Improving Homes – Improving Lives” for over 30 years. Initially targeting elderly, disabled and low-income groups across Orkney, the service has evolved and now assists a much wider client base.
With the impending retirement of our highly experienced Care and Repair Manager in March 2019, we are seeking an exceptional and motivated person – someone who can grow as a leader and inspire their team to deliver the best they can for colleagues and clients.
This post is one of the most senior in the Association and has responsibility for delivering all Care and Repair services. The post holder will have regular interaction with our Management Committee and the Leadership Team in delivering services to a high quality.
The objectives of this post are to ensure that Care and Repair operates in a way that:
• Delivers an efficient and responsive service to Orkney Care and Repair clients;
• Provides quality advice, information and practical help to householders across Orkney;
• Maintains high standards of governance, decision making and customer service; and
• Provides effective leadership for staff, and promotes a culture of professionalism and integrity.
